Short answer
Influencer merch works best as a drop: open a pre-order window, then each piece is made one at a time and shipped in your branding, with no stock bought up front. You bring the audience and content; Grandior handles design, samples, photos, production, packaging, fulfillment and support. Orders are dispatched within 7 days of confirmation.

Most influencer merch starts with a guess: how many hoodies, which sizes, and who eats the cost of the ones nobody buys. A fine jewelry line skips the guess. You open a drop, each piece is made after the buyer pays, and it ships in your branding. No stock in your garage, and every order is dispatched within 7 days of confirmation.
I run my own fine-jewelry brands as well as Grandior, so I've sat on both sides of a launch. When a creator or their manager gets on a call, the first four questions barely change. Is there a minimum? No. Can each piece be personalized? Yes, one at a time. Will the box carry their name, not ours? Yes. Who owns the design? They do, once it's paid for.
Why does jewelry make better influencer merch than a hoodie?
Because people wear it every day, on camera, without being asked. A hoodie gets one thank-you post. A pendant with your symbol, catchphrase or initials turns up in GRWMs, try-ons and "wearing it today" Stories for months. That's UGC you never had to brief.
It also suits a premium audience. Solid gold, sterling silver and certified lab-grown diamonds sell well above printed apparel, so each order is worth more to you.
And it doesn't date like a tour-year tee. A 14K gold pendant still looks right long after the launch Reel has scrolled away.

How does a drop work when nothing is made in advance?
You sell first and make second. Announce a limited drop or a pre-order window, buyers check out, and each piece then goes into production on its own and ships to that buyer. Nothing is bought up front.
- Tease it. Put the sample on camera for a week or two. Close-ups, the piece on you, the box.
- Open the window. A drop with a hard end date, or a numbered limited edition.
- Make per order. Each order goes to the bench after the buyer pays. Ready designs are dispatched within 7 days of confirmation; custom and personalized timelines are confirmed per order.
- Ship and support. Each piece goes to its buyer in your packaging, tracked and insured.
Write "made to order" on the product page in plain words. Buyers are fine with a short wait when they knew before checkout. They're not fine finding out from a tracking email. And never promise a delivery date: delivery varies by country and prevailing conditions.
Where should you sell: your store, TikTok Shop or Etsy?
Sell where your audience already buys, and point every channel at one checkout you control. For most creators that means their own store first, with everything else feeding it.
| Channel | How it works | Grandior's role | Check first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your own Shopify store | Your domain, your checkout, your customer list | We can build it and run orders and support | Policies, shipping and tax settings |
| Posts, Reels and Stories linking to your store | Photos and video for launch | Meta's current shop and checkout options in your country | |
| TikTok Shop | Products sold inside TikTok | Production and fulfillment per order | Category approval and handling-time rules for made-to-order items |
| Link in bio | One link to your drop page | Drop page on your store | That the link points to the live drop |
| Etsy | Your own designs, made by a disclosed production partner | Production partner only | Etsy's production partner rules |
Etsy is the one to be careful with. Its Creativity Standards allow items made by a third party only when they are the seller's original designs, and the seller must disclose the production partner (as of October 2026). So on Etsy we work only as a production partner for your own designs. Never list our lookbook designs there as they are. Our guide on dropshipping jewelry on Etsy goes into the detail.
What does Grandior handle, and what do you handle?
You own the audience, the content and the launch. We handle everything behind the product.
| Task | Who does it |
|---|---|
| Audience, content and launch posts | Creator |
| Pricing and promotions | Creator |
| Design: pick from the lookbook or CAD from $55 per design | Grandior, with creator approval |
| Samples to approve before launch | Grandior makes; creator approves |
| Studio photos and 360 video for the launch | Grandior (studio, from $20 per video) |
| Store build on Shopify or WooCommerce | Grandior, if wanted |
| Production, one piece per order | Grandior |
| Branded box, pouch, card and certificate | Grandior, to the creator's artwork |
| Fulfillment: packed and shipped to each buyer, tracked and insured | Grandior |
| Customer emails, returns and resizes under the creator's brand | Grandior (store operations), to the creator's policy |
You own the CAD for custom designs once it's paid for. The buyer never sees Grandior: the box, the insert card and the shipping emails all carry your name. Talent managers and agencies can run several creators through the same setup, each line under its own brand. Jewelry dropshipping shows how fulfillment runs day to day.
What does premium mean when fans film it up close?
It means named materials and checks, not adjectives on a product page. Your audience will zoom in on the clasp in a phone close-up, so the finish has to hold up at that distance.
- Metal. 925 sterling silver, gold vermeil, or solid 10K (417), 14K (585) or 18K (750) gold in yellow, white or rose.
- Stones. IGI or GIA certified lab-grown diamonds, always labeled lab-grown. Under the FTC rules on the word diamond, a lab-grown stone needs a clear disclosure that it is not mined.
- Finish. Cast, set, polished and finished in partner workshops in India. Stones are matched for pairs and sets.
- Checks. Every piece is checked against your approved sample before it ships.
- Marks. Logo engraving, and hallmarks where required.
Before launch, order a sample to check quality in the metal you plan to sell. Then film it the way you'll film the launch: your phone, your light, your hand. If it looks right on your camera, it will look right on your buyers.
What must you disclose under FTC rules?
As of October 2026, the FTC's staff guidance says that if it is obvious from your post that the brand is your own, no disclosure is needed. If it is not obvious, disclose it (FTC Endorsement Guides FAQ). "My new collection" or "my brand" next to the product does the job.
Brand deals and gifted pieces are different. The FTC's Disclosures 101 for social media influencers says to:
- Disclose any financial, employment, personal or family relationship with a brand you promote.
- Put the disclosure with the post, where it is hard to miss, not only in your bio or behind "more".
- In video, put it in the video itself, on screen and spoken, and repeat it during live streams.
- Avoid vague tags such as "sp", "spon" or "collab".
If you pay other creators, or seed them pieces, to promote your line, they must disclose that connection. The FTC's FAQ says brands should ask for that disclosure and monitor the posts. The rules sit in the Endorsement Guides, 16 CFR Part 255, revised in 2023. This is a summary, not legal advice.
What does an influencer merch launch look like, step by step?
The order is the same every time; only the timings move, and we confirm those per design.
- Brief and call. Tell us the idea, the audience and the channels. Send a brief or book a call.
- Design. Pick a ready design or approve CAD renders of your own.
- Sample. We make it in your metal. You approve it, ideally on camera.
- Packaging. Box, pouch, card and inserts are set up to your artwork.
- Content. Studio photos and 360 video for the product page and the teaser posts.
- Store. Products go live, with a made-to-order note on each page.
- Drop. You announce it, put the link in bio and open the window.
- Production. Each order is made one at a time. Ready designs are dispatched within 7 days of confirmation; custom timelines are confirmed per order.
- Support. Tracking emails, questions, returns and resizes, all under your brand.
- Restock or next drop. Reopen the window, or launch the next design on the same setup.

Next step
Send a brief with your idea and channels, or browse the lookbook for a ready design to launch under your name. If you manage several creators, book a call and I'll walk you through the setup once for all of them.
Questions founders ask
How do influencers make merch without inventory?
They sell made to order. The buyer pays, then a production partner makes, packs and ships the piece. The influencer buys no stock, only the design work and a sample before launch.
What is creator merch?
Anything sold under a creator's name to their audience, from hoodies to jewelry. Jewelry sits at the premium end, in solid gold or sterling silver, often personalized and shipped in the creator's own packaging.
Can I sell jewelry on TikTok Shop if it is made to order?
TikTok Shop sets its own handling-time and category rules, and they change. Check the current rules for made-to-order items in Seller Center before you list, and set a handling time that matches real production time.
Can I sell my jewelry line on Etsy?
Only your own original designs. Etsy's Creativity Standards allow designs produced by a third party when they are the seller's own, and the seller must disclose the production partner. We work as an Etsy production partner on that basis, never for our ready designs.
Do influencers have to disclose their own merch?
The FTC's staff guidance says no disclosure is needed if it is obvious from the post that the brand is the influencer's own. If it is not obvious, disclose it. Anyone promoting your line in return for pay or free pieces must disclose that connection.
How much does it cost to start an influencer jewelry line?
You pay for design and samples before launch, not for stock. Custom CAD starts from $55 per design and samples from $259. Production prices are quoted per design.
